Terms and Conditions

The plain rules for hosting events, buying tickets and keeping the moments you were part of.

Last updated 25 September 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply when you use Quiktis, the ticketing and events platform run by Quiktis Limited ("Quiktis", "we", "us"), including our website and related services (the "Services").

By creating an account, buying a ticket or hosting an event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who can use Quiktis

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement under the law that applies to you.

3. What Quiktis does

Quiktis lets organisers create events and sell or issue tickets, and lets people buy tickets, get in with a QR code, and keep a record of the events they attended.

Organisers, not Quiktis, run and are responsible for their events, including the venue, programme, safety, permits and what happens on the day. Quiktis is the platform that connects organisers and guests.

4. Your account

  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Buying tickets

  • The price, any fees and the total are shown before you pay.
  • A ticket is issued to the name and email you give at checkout, and is checked at the door by scanning its QR code. Each ticket admits one person, once.
  • Keep your QR code private. Anyone who holds it may be able to use it.
  • After an event, your ticket stays in your Quiktis profile as a keepsake of the moment.

6. Fees and payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner. Quiktis does not see or store your full card details.

Quiktis charges fees for using the platform. Where a fee is added to the ticket price for buyers, it is shown at checkout before you pay. We may change our fees for future sales, and will not change the fees on a purchase you have already made.

Organisers receive ticket revenue, less applicable fees, in the bank account they save on Quiktis. Withdrawals are subject to identity and account checks and to the minimum amount shown in the dashboard.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Quiktis is a ticketing platform. The event is run by the organiser, and your purchase is with them. Refunds, cancellations, postponements and changes to an event are decided by the organiser, not by Quiktis.

If you need a refund, or an event is cancelled or changed, contact the organiser directly. Their name is on the event page. Quiktis does not decide refund requests, but you can write to us at the address below if you cannot reach the organiser and we will try to put you in touch.

Organisers are responsible for honouring the refund terms they set for their events. Payment processing fees may not be recoverable, subject to the law.

8. If you host events

  • Describe your event honestly, including the date, time, place and what tickets include.
  • Hold the permits and permissions your event needs, and follow the law.
  • Use guest details (names, emails, check-in records) only to run your event and look after your guests, and keep them secure.
  • Do not host events that are illegal, hateful, fraudulent or that put people at risk.
  • Tell guests and us quickly if an event is cancelled or changed.

9. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the Services, attempt to break or bypass their security, or access data that is not yours.
  • Do not create fake events, sell tickets you do not have, or copy or forge tickets.
  • Do not use the Services to harass, defraud or mislead others.

10. Content and ownership

Quiktis, its name, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

You keep ownership of what you upload, such as event images and descriptions. You give us permission to display it on Quiktis and in previews of your event so that we can run and promote the Services.

11. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close accounts, remove events, or hold payouts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, the law requires it, or people may be at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.

You can stop using Quiktis at any time.

12. Our responsibility

We provide the Services with reasonable care, but cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Quiktis is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for events run by organisers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory law where you live says otherwise.
